Being on a dating service site and one of your "matches" is your own brother/sister? I am sure it has happened before, but no one talks about this stuff.

If you didn't know you were/are related is it still incest?

My ex neighbor divorced her fourth husband to marry her half brother. She knew her dad cheated and and had a son floating around somewhere so she searched to find him since the other siblings didn't care. It's gross because they look like twins and when they kiss in public........EWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

You could be your own uncle.

Haha, my aunt married her husband before their parents married, so they are step-siblings now, but not when they married.

When I was dating, I had two strong fears: 1) I would find out the woman I was dating was really a dude, and 2) The woman of my dreams would end up being a relative I didn't know about.

Glad I was wrong, I think, so far.

They have the same father. He cheated on her mom and the other lady raised the son by herself. They look like twins.

I don't have any sisters.

On a side note, a friend of mine married a woman who had a brother who looked almost identical to my friend. It was very strange arriving at the wedding, seeing the brother and assuming he was with the groom's party because he looked that much like my friend, only to find out he was the brother of the bride. :twitchy:

Imagine if you were adopted and inadvertently tagged your birth mom when you're out cruising for cougars?

Hell, I'd never get that lucky.

On a serious note, when I was a kid I had a crush on a girl then I found out she was my cousin.

We're still friends to this day.

That happened to my wife before she met me.

Her best match was her ex.

I wasn't even a match of hers (but she was one of mine, which still doesn't make sense, but okay).

Turns out we are perfect for each other.

Wasn't there a commercial where a son and mom were doing sexy chat with each other? I can't remember what it was for, though... (not the shoes speed dating commercial, though.)

You can marry your cousin in 26 states. I think they all happen to be south of Iowa, though...

Arranged marriage?

Most of the world does it.

Only child here, though I guess it's theoretically possible my loser biological father played the field.

Thread title should be: Why doesn't anyone talk about?

Just sayin' :innocent:

Being married, not having any sisters, and having only one, much younger half brother who's also straight... have to say this just would never have occurred to me.
