Foo - Too funny

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

No way can these be "Mormon-dudes", as we like to call them. All the ones that come to our house are really skinny and or muscular from riding their bikes up and down the hills around here.
One duo stopped coming to our house because I could always rely on one of the guys to get derailed from his supposed talk on Latter Day Saints to talking about the VW busses in our driveway. I used to see them down at the local store after they quit "visiting". Pretty nice guys, overall.
Doh, where did this "Elder" & "Mormon" prattle come from? These guys are from Harrisburg PA... on the western fringe of Pennsylvania's famous Amish Country. The Amish & Mormon's are worlds apart in their dogmas.
Sheesh!

If you look close enough, you'll see that they are dressed as atypical Elders on Bikes: short-sleeved shirt w/ tie, name plate, and the books...my guess - they are not Golden Tablets, but facsimiles of the books Mormons carry in the hope of converting others.
Never seen the Amish in H-burg dressed like that...even in the train station market.
