OK, we've all seen the Raleigh Techniums before, but I've never (not that it's rare) seen one with alluminum front triangle before? I know they exist, I've just never seen one before, anyone?

I see yours has the "Tri-Lite" decal on the top tube but mine has "PRE" on the top tube and "Tri-Lite" on the fork?

True, and I have a huge affinity for the Raleighs made in England and the Netherlands. But even though the Merida-made bikes branded "Raleigh of USA" are not Raleighs, they were good bikes. I sold one recently. My test ride was impressive.

The top, bottom, and seat tube are the only aluminum parts on the actual frame, the head tube and lugs (if you can call them that?) are steel.
