Utility Cycling - Trailer that Works with Raleigh 3-Speeds?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm thinking of buying a trailer, to haul my 4-year-old daughter as well as for groceries. I've been prowling craigslist. My wife and I both have Raleigh 3-speeds. The one trailer I looked at attached at the rear axle, using a special skewer. That's not going to work for us.
What trailer will work with old 3-speeds with rear pletscher racks? Do any trailers attach to the chain stay or seat stay? If they attach to the seat post, will my rack get in the way?
Here's some examples:

Actually, the trailer attachments at the rear axle can work with racks. I installed a Currie electric assist kit this summer, which includes a rear rack. I was worried that I might have to figure out some other way to tow my trailer, but the rear axle attachment works just fine with the rack on.

A frame mounted hitch would be best as it is not a simple task to extend the axle on an SA hub... this is also better for the bike as it keeps the load stress off the axle.

#1 and #4 look like they have the right hitch type.

For your use the seat post hitch is the way to go. As to you rack that will depend your ability to make them play well together (modify them).
I got trailer #1 to day at lunchtime. The hitch fits into the rear triangle and tightens down. The trailer also folds, and the wheels are removable for storage.

A WIKE trailer should work. Honestly, I've never attached my WIKE cargo trailer (they make a kiddie trailer too) to my internally gear hub'd bike simply because it is geared too high but the attachment would still work since it does not require a special skewer.
If you and your wife might both pull he trailer at times, WIKE sells extra hitch attachments for just $10. I bought 2 with my trailer and it was money well spent since I have a few different bikes.
