Hi! I'm looking for information on a bike my mother-in-law purchased used a few years ago in FL.

It's a 20" fold-up made by B C America, a company out of Bethlehem, PA probably in the 1980's. The company was bought out right after that and we think they purchased many of them.

The bike has NO GEARS, and Bendix hub brakes. She put new tires on it a few years ago and it rides pretty good!

Here's a couple of pictures of it. If anyone has further info. on this bike and the history of them, we would appreciate the information!!

BCA was the Bicycle Corporation of America. I believe that they were started by former employees of Chain Bike Corporation= aka Ross Bicycles. Pretty sure that the frames were imported from Taiwan and built up as complete bikes in Allentown, PA. I sold them for a while, but was not happy with the quality of the bikes. A number of the mountain bike frames had alignment problems. Not sure how long the firm lasted, but it was not a long time.

Thanks for your help. I had forgotten to ask if you or anyone else knows what it would be worth these days? She's not ready to sell right now, but might soon.

Thanks in advance, Irene
