I had so much hope for Stargate Universe... but it's been a let down so far. Stupid drama in space makes me puke. It's like taking StarTrek Voyager and replacing the crew with the 90210 cast.

Agree. Loved Stargate SG1 and Atlantis but this iteration is awful...so much like a freakin' soap opera it almost makes me sick.
I really keep hoping that whiny gamer boy genius gets whacked by someone or something lol.
But I keep watching hoping it gets better.

Never could get into Aeryn and Crichton being on SG. I kept expecting them to let loose with a "fahrbot" or "load of dren" remark. Damn you SciFi!...er..Syfy or whatever they're calling it these days. :notamused:

Perhaps we can start a petition to kill this version of SG and have them bring back Firefly.

Stargate shows have always been horrible.

I couldn't get past the propaganda to even watch it. Apparently it is not disappointing in its suckiness.

Sci Fi network threw Farscape under the bus in favor of Stargate in the first place. Sci Fi execs told Farscape writers they had too many female lead characters and that didn't sit well with their target demographic(masturbatory nerds,), writers said "Go eff yourself!" and all of a sudden a crap show like SG-1 has their time slot. It only adds insult to injury that Stargate shows recycle actors from much better shows, like Firefly.

I don't mind seeing actors get work in different roles.
It builds loyalty in the fan base. Geek conventions bring money, money temps networks into occasionally funding a sci-fi show.

The BBC has been the best sci-fi network for a while now.
They recycle their 6 to 10 actors all over the place too.

Oh GAWD how I hate that!

And SGU sucks BALLS! Total snoozefest. +eleventy billion for bringing back Firefly and sending the fraking nuStarGates straight to hell where they belong.

I have to agree. SGU sucks! I like Atlantis and SG1.

I *LOVED* Atlantis, at least at first. Once they killed off the Doctor guy I was less than impressed, Elizabeth, too. I grew to like Ronin though.

I adore the first few seasons of SG-1. Once they started added Farscape refugees etc it blew, hard.

Firefly, Buffy, and now Dollhouse. Joss Whedon keeps setting 'em up. Execs keeping knocking him down.
From IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0923736/bio):
Joss Whedon Trade Mark
Plans storylines far in advance for all his television series, allowing for remarkable long-term continuity.

Egads! A long term committment is required of viewers with enough attention span to give a show more than a 60 minute chance?!?!

I have to admit (shamefully so?) that I'm not familiar with Farscape. I just checked Hulu, not listed, so probably won't get to check it out.

Found one. Fancast has season 2 full episodes. Shame it doesn't have season 1 available. I'll see if I can't find them somewhere.

Also, during my search, Farscape's official site says that webisodes are in development.
