Been participating in the GABA/Tucson bike swap meet for about 25 years.
3,000 to 5,000 folks come and browse for old and new stuff at (mostly) bargain prices.
Spotted the following tandems for sale . . .
A 31-year old custom Calvert (made in WA). Beautiful fillet brazing, Phil disc brake, hubs, BBs. Asking $1,000.
A, early Burley Bossa Nova, with very few miles; Suntour barcons, cantis, rack, fenders, cages. Immaculate, asking $1,000.
1968 Schwinn Twinn, pretty rough looking, $250.
Paramount tandem, needed work/paint, $1200.
A very beefy built-for-2 big racing guys custom Gilmour built for and by Andy Gilmour.
Saw a guy test riding (solo) on an old Burley Duet and crashing when he hit the trolley tracks on 4th Ave. Ouch!!!
Pedal on TWOgether!
