Wouldn't this setup be better than using the MTN calipers? It seems the shorter lever arm of the road discs plus the increased pull of the levers gives MORE mechanical advantege. Or at least less adjustment is needed. I wonder if the amount of cable pull(lever type) affects disc brake performance as much as the geometry of the caliper. Do the Tektro levers have as much pull as a regular MTB lever? I probably won't ever switch to flat bars on my bike so that's a non-issue.
