Southeast - will be in Charlotte NC for thanksgiving weekend and want to ride!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'll be visiting family in charlotte from wednesday to sunday during thanksigiving weekend and would like to get in a ride or two. I'll specifically be in the Harrisburg and Concorde area, does anyone have any good routes for 40 to 60 mile rides in that area or even better would be group rides in the 19-23 mph range. I'm from Miami, FL so all i ride is flat, and have no idea if this area will be hilly, but i'm hoping it is for new experience. i'm also guessing i'll need a long sleeve jersey and leg warmers because i doubt it'll be 80 degrees like home. any advice and help is greatly appreciated, thanks BF!

Today its ~75 and sunny, check weather.com...bring you gear as it can be cold in the morning.
You can also check out the Spirited Cyclist in Mooresville - not terribly far from Concord. They have a great Saturday morning ride. http://www.spiritedcyclist.info/
thanks to both for the info! i think i'll be checking out the spamerton. I'll ride solo on thursday and friday to get a feel for the area. the only hills we have here are a couple of birdges, haha.
