.....but thats a 26r. I need a 29r with the super wheels that make things smaller than they appear.

That is one ugly bike. It looks very cheesy. Something from wal mart.

Meh, Foes uses cheesy graphics too. I'd still hit it. :thumb:

Yeah but could I race DH and XC on it?

dminor

If you were to believe a lot of people here, you could do that, plus the Crankworx Slopestyle, race Paris to Dakar and the ISDE on it. 29ers are for everything, man.

Hmmmmmmm......Paris to Dakar? I could fab up a sidecar and we could win that thing.

Then you REALLY need the 29er. I bet that thing would be a bear to bunnyhop, but it's all good since you don't need to bunny hop as high to get over the same size obstacle on a 29er.

Did someone say "hop?"

Yep. FF,Bully Beatdown,Nitro Circus.........thats good stuff.

D, I'm a little out of shape so you're gonna need to pedal this rig most of the way.

FF and Nitro circus are my two favorite shows to watch on tv behind The Office. Endless amounts of money and many just as dumb but awesome friends as myself would be the dream.

Don't feel bad, everyone knows their ugly. As to the OP, I recommend TREK.

I think a carbon Dorado is in order.

I was going to recommend a Fox 40 lowered to 100mm but your idea is even better. I would lower the Dorado's travel to 100mm and be sure to pick up a model with "lock-out".

They make internals for Marzocchi.

I can pedal that thing from Paris to Dakar at no less than 800 watts the entire way. You should put me on your team.

This thread has been very helpful.. I'm going to get my 11 year old daughter a new bike and I thought a 29er would be good since they have a lower standover height and lower center of gravity..

dminor
11-17-09, 08:18 PM
^^ They're lighter, therefore less filling. Plus, they are tough, so they don't break down into a sack of crumbles on a long trip. I recommend Carbon Doritos for the Paris to Dakar for you. I think I will stick with Nacho Cheese.

I can't wait to see the look on Robbie Gordons face when we pedal past him munching out on the carbon nacho cheese dorito's. It'll be a race to remember.

It's got three wheels. Shouldn't be a problem.

Well......I guess I'll go with a 29r/rigid/seatless/fixie and race in Trans Borneo Challenge with the girlscout on the handlebars.
