is the santa cruz heckler good? it doesnt seem like it would be as shock absorbent because its just a single-pivot bike compared to a four-bar suspension

"Roadmaster" full suspension, make sure you run it on full soft setting.

IMO Giant with its Maestro suspension is way ahead of alot of some of the more expensive bikes out there

Trance is a more aggressive 5 inch travel trail bike. Right. I always confuse trail and AM.

Is the Heckler a good bike? No, I hate all of mine, but I'll just suffer and keep riding them, what with their "poor" single pivot suspension and all...

I know what you mean. I like the Enduro that I'm riding but I miss my Bullit.
