Ok, so I've been looking for a new bike for a while and decided to up my budget to $1000 (but preferably less) because I really wanted a cross bike for the sake of versatility. I'll mostly be doing city riding, but would love to find some good trails too. I would also like to be able to do rides up to about 30 miles (more eventually). I was considering the Kona Jake, or waiting for a deal on a Volpe, but I impulsively bought a 2009 Felt f35X on ebay for $100 less than I could have bought the Jake for at my LBS. I know everyone raves about the Konas, so I really don't know why I decided to do this except for liking the idea of all 105 components and a carbon fork. I can't find anything on the Felt at all, so I was wondering if anyone has an opinion of the bike (or Felt cross bikes in general if not that specific model) and what the major differences will be from the Jake. I could always sell it and get the Jake if I decide it would better fit my needs.
