Hello, I have really enjoyed reading the various post. My first post was totaly wako!!! I turned in my Specialized Hardrock pro Disc For A GT AVALANCHE 1.0. Glad I did, it has much better equiptment. I really like the Avid disc breaks, so much easier to adjust than the shimano. I also like have Shimano Demore all the way around. I think for the extra 15$ this is a much better bike. I'm glad I bought the bike at LL Bean, there was no hassle turning in the Hardrock for the GT Avalance 1.0 even after riding the Hardrock!!

My wife loves her Hardrock Rockhopper!!! She did right the first time!!

Please forget about my first post I think I was Drunk and too excitied about the new bikes.

No problem, glad you got the bikes both of you wanted.

If you need help with anymore mechanics, let us know, we'd be more than happy to help out.

BTW, new bikes require posting of pictures. j/k (kinda) we like to see new bikes.
