I just upgraded (majorly) from a vintage mid-1970's Miyata MXE, to a 2008 Masi Speciale Fixed (I think that's the year?). Paid $400, did I get a good deal? I know Masi makes good bikes, but is what I paid worth it? It is in excellent/flawless condition, and I can't wait to ride it. Need to fix a flat, but otherwise, it seems to be in pristine condition! Please let me know what you think, and any education I would need for this kind of bike. Thank you! http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/3340/sdc10100.jpg

Does it matter? You already bought it.

$400 seems like a pretty good deal. It's a 2007 by the way.

Yeah, definitely. Especially considering I paid $800 new for my '08.

i had no idea this things cost that much.... i bought brand new bike with an 853 frame, carbon fork, and full ultegra for about $1000. the only house brand part was the seatpoast (and it was even an attractive bladed campy look a like)
granted, that was a few years ago....

Not bad. I was thinking about buying just the frameset from a guy for $250 so I'd say a full build for $400 is pretty damn good.
