I'm going to throw some bullhorns on it, and I'm already looking for better pedals. My question is, what else should be changed? I like the bike as is, but realize that it could benefit from a few upgrades. Open to suggestions, as this is one of my winter project bikes.

Upgrade saddle.

Are you looking for performance gains or just looks?

Both or neither. Just want to make the bike even more fun to ride, without spending too much.

After I practice my skidding. I need to find some good winter rubber, for the snow.

I'd go for a lighter wheelset, or get a lighter front wheel for better handling.

Doesn't that go against the heavy, deep aero section wheel trend?

In that case, get a tiny hat and matching top tube pad.

Whoah! Hey guys! botto showed up in SSFG!

Sounds like the man has spoken. S3X Wheelset and a set of brakes for you, pal.

No white belt? :innocent:

I'll get some brakes, but not ready for new wheels yet. We'll have a lot of snow on the ground for several months.

Anyone have a pedal recommendation for winter/snow?

I'd like that Shimano generator stuff - the Alfine.

I got some Campy brakes and TT levers. Just need to pick out some bullhorns now. I know I'll need a shorter stem for the bullhorns, but how much shorter?

Any other suggestions?

Looking for pedals, I found the All-City track pedals (http://allcitycycles.com/products/components/standard_track_pedals/). Are they any good?

I've never heard bad things about them, but I have a set of GR-9s which i love and would highly recommend.

This comment appeals to me: "The bearings are not sealed, but I have always had really great luck with them even through Minnesota winters.".
