I want to get myself a Google Gmail address, but can't seem to register from here in Ireland. Does anyone have any ideas - or would do it for me?!

right now it is beta testing, and the only way to get an account is thru invites... I have had a Gmail acct. for a couple months now, but alas, no invites to give out yet

There is a rumor that if you sign up for blogger (owned by google) you MIGHT get an invite. I don't know if it's true our not...

I have a gmail account, got it via invite a month ago. I'll have to check out that blogger thing.

No invites to give out either, btw.

I wonder if they just stopped :S

I also have Gmail but I used up all my invites when I got them and haven't received any more.

I've got it, but no invites. It's true about blogger, that's how I got mine. I believe any blogger user is welcome to sign up with G-mail.

Koldewaj, I'd be interested in getting one if you don't mind. It would be great to get rid of my hotmail account. My email is my bikeforums username at hotmail.com. Thanks
