Hybrid Bicycles - Norco VFR 4 or Cannondale Quick5?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am able to get one of these for about the same price. The Quick 5 is 2 yrs younger than the VFR 4. The VFR 4 seems to be the more $$$ when new. Likely due to the discs brakes which I don't really care since it is for commuting. Not to mention the discs will add to the overall weight.
What do you think?

The Quick 5 is a nice bike.
I have the Quick 2 - it is really a perfect bike. Different parts than the Q5, but the frame, etc. is awesome. As usual, try them both, get the one that feels right.

Lately, there have been quite a few horror stories about Norco's lack of customer service.....

But since these bikes are used, I don't really care about a company's CSR quality.
How is the bike's quality though?

Buy the one that rides the nicest, for you...... One ride should tell you...

^ If that is the case, I'd buy a Kona Jake or Dew Drop!
