I like the new look. Its brighter and easier to read. The refresh also seems faster...

I've been thinking of just that. The color scheme is causing pain in my eyes. I like the very simple older layout much better.

How the hell do I read just the stuff I want to read? I don't care about stuff in C&V. It's too freakin' hard to find just what I want...

It's actually much more difficult to read to me; all the fonts are very small. This is almost enough to put me off BF for a while.

If we're going to be broadcasting our post counts now, how about including all the posts? I feel disenfranchised because thousands of my posts are not being counted.

There's a settings button in the right top corner. That's the new User Control Panel. Everything that was on there should still be there.

Your computer must really suck. On my 3 and a half year old laptop my proc never hit 50%. ;)It does. It's a craptop, something like four years old, and pretty busted up. But it rarely has issues with complex sites.

I think the main culprit is the stupid bug in the corner of the screen having to be re-rendered every frame.

Anyone see the 'style chooser' in the bottom left? Only one option there at the moment, but that looks like where we'll be able to switch the appearance. :)

I unsubscribed to Foo just to mess around and was given the option to email notifications when I resubscribed. I don't know if that's the only solution or not.

It will take a while to figure it out. Then it will be WAY superior. We will be thankful. We will be embarrassed we complained because we were not patient enough.

But... right now... IT SUCKS.

I'm reserving judgment until I've used it some more and the kinks are worked out. It's certainly a bit distracting. But my profile page works now...hasn't for a while. I wish they'd count the posts in Foo...although it might come in handy sometimes, having a low post count. Being an underdog and all.

Other than having the actual post be so big with a lot of "white space", this is ok ---- hmm emoticons are kinda "chincy" but I'm sure they'll be improved :D

I'm going to see how this looks on mobile web when I get to work...it'd be cool if that was improved!

Last night it had substantial issues in firefox and ie both, this morning it worked better on firefox than ie but I haven't tried side-by-side, firefox was an hour ago, maybe it works worse there too by now.

Might not be so bad if things didn't take so long to open. Those that bother to open at all:notamused:

Tip to anyone using Firefox with the Adblock or Remove It Permanently plugins: Nuke the advertising bug in the bottom right corner. It uses a LOT of CPU cycles.

The Core2 Duo computer I use at work went from 40% CPU usage while scrolling to 7% (plus faster scrolling) after the bug was gone.
