Sorry for bombarding the board w/ questions....Ive spent the past two days looking for a new bike & Im full of questions.

1st..anyone have one & how do you like it, esp. for any downhill stuff? Also, what are the differences between the 2001 & 2002? Anyone have a pic. of a 2001? (so I can show my wife). I may have found a good deal on a 2001 leftover.

I have the 2001 comp hard tail. I'm not sure which one you’re talking about (fsr or ht's)
It’s an awesome bike. I race it. It's light, its fast and very responsive. If you can get really good deal on it, i think it would be worth it.
I think the frame material is the same as long as it's the m4 the only real difference would be the components and that should be all the big of a deal anyways. Good luck
