I know of a 1992 Bridgestone MB-1 for sale for $1000. It has been barely ridden and is like new. All original components.
What is it worth?

If it's in exc. shape, figure four. It could get more than that, much more, all depends on what conditions prevail. A B.S. collecter probably wouldn't pay near a thousand. B.S.s sell for twice what they're "worth".
you that as a guide, whether it be road or mountain, ecpecially road by comparing one to another equal, but less esteemed brand. Commuters tout the MB 5s even.
Commuters don't pay much for bikes, neither would a person who wanted to make it touring.
If you really like it, shooting for seven would'nt be too, too bad. I've seen fair-cond. MB2s get four.
We all pay top dollar if it's for real and an ideal, at least I have. "bargains' can cause regret.

About $250 around here, and it would take a while to find a buyer. Unless you are in a hot market, you are probably looking at ebay. $1000? N*F*W
