Is this a decent starter bike for the velodrome, with the occasional short-distance street riding? I haven't heard anything about LG track bikes

Looks suspiciously like my Chinese VISP frame, which I built strictly for street use. Rather heavy but OK track geometry, cheap but adequate strength and alignment. All aluminum low end 6061 heavy guage, should be durable. They claim it has a front brake but don't show it in the photo, should be OK for occasional street use. You can be sure that LG is just a sticker they slapped on the bike, LG is not a bike manufacturer, mostly clothes and helmets.
