Are there any actors out there whom you find so irritating and/or overrated that you can't watch a movie they're in, even if you want to?

I'm that way with Angelina Jolie. Can't stand her.

Nicolas Cage, of the past 10 years, is a close second.

You?

Keanu Reeves. He is absolutely terrible. I think Nick Cage wouldn't bother me so bad if he didn't try to always have 20 year old rockstar hair. Everybody knows he's like 60 years old, so maybe he should act his age.

Angelina Jolie doesn't annoy me so bad now that she doesn't try to act like Eartha Kitt Catwoman anymore.

Drew Barrymore is a close second.

+1 on Hugh Grant.

Jennifer Aniston doesn't bother me when she does smaller roles, like in "Bruce Almighty". She's not fit for a starring role though.

Also can't stand Tom Cruise.

Yes to Tom Cruise....ugh!!

Yes to Nicolas Cage too. He seemed OK when he first started showing up in movies, because they cast him well. Then after he started doing some actions movies and such, we got to realize that he only had that one character....it doesn't change depending on the role. Ugh!!

Most any of the Scientologist actors.

Any of the Arquettes and half of the Baldwins are unwatchable.

Kevin Costner.

But the worst of the worst--Jim Carrey

OK, I'll allow an asterisk for Bill Murray and John Belushi, but it's a mystery to me why the Vacation movies are still shown on TV at all, never mind multiple times every week.

I see Mr. Ferrell made the news today.

Hollywood star Will Ferrell has topped a list of luminaries whose returns offer the least value for money.

Ultra narcissists don't need to take care of their mental health. Not when everything is riding on how many teeth you can fit into your smile.

Yup. John Travolta is pretty Ravolting. Heh. Arnold Schwarzenegger. We somehow found ourselves watching one of his movies where he clones himself. *gag*

Nearly every one of them. I think it would make more sense for me to come up with a list of those actors who I don't find annoying.

Maybe it's because I live among them and find myself surrounded by people who worship these ********.

Tom Cruise needs to drop his cute boy act. Ugh.

When he does drop it, however, he can do a really excellent job. I thought he did great in Collateral, for example.

Nicholas Cage probably tops my list of unwatchables.

Others:

John Travolta
George Clooney
Will Ferrell
Vin Diesel (he died before he could spoil Saving Private Ryan)
Sandra Bullock
Catherine Zeta Jones

I used to be more or less smitten with Catherine Zeta Jones back before I'd seen any of her movies except Zorro. After The Terminal, Ocean's 12, Cruel Intentions, and a few dozen T-mobile commercials, I was completely cured of that.

I'm actually bothered by Keanu Reeves less than any of the others above. I'm more amused than annoyed by him. There's something charming about being so oblivious to ineptitude when it's harmless.

Jason Statham is teetering on the edge of unwatchable. I really enjoyed The Italian Job and Transporter, but then some moron had to go and make an incredibly bad sequel to the latter, to build on the absurdity of Crank. I never should have watched either one, as now the memory poisons every other appearance he makes.
