I good friend of mine got married in Louisianan this past weekend. I couldn't make it to the wedding due to scheduling conflicts. Their honeymoon is in Gatlinburg, TN, which just so happens to be about 70 miles from where I'm living for the week. I mentioned, tongue in cheek, that he bring his MTB on the honeymoon. I got a call from him today saying that he brought his bike and wants to ride this weekend. His wife is NOT a cyclist. In a nutshell, this guy is ditching his wife on their honeymoon to go for an epic mountain bike ride with me in the WNC mountains. :D

I truly hoped he cleared it with her. Maybe he sent her to a spa. My wife would have traded that off when we were honeymooning, if I was riding back then.

That picture would be better if his hand was stuck in the front of his pants, Al Bundy-style.
