How can I preserve inner tubes for as long as possible? Maybe store them in zip-lock bags with a little talcum powder? (Or is there something better?)

Not a cheapskate, I just finally found a source for Woods-valved, 28x1 5/8x1/3/8 tubes & tires for my Dutch commuter. :thumb:

I wrap mine in kitchen wrap and store them inside the house. In the past I had stored them in my garage. The tubes developed holes that looked like chemical burns. I suspect it was caused by ozone or something in our auto exhaust..
