Wellll I'm not Batman but this elevation profile is!

This is where Deer Springs Rd. transitions from Deer Springs Rd. into Mountain Meadow Rd. as you head East after crossing over the 15 in Escondido.
I've been "eyeballing" the climb for a while.
I had a few goals....don't stop while going up, don't fall over from going too slow, and don't die coming back down! I accomplished all three....the ride down was....THRILLING to say the least. The steepest grade was 17.1% and the average was around 10.5%....just ridiculous! I'm estimating about a mile from the start to the top.....Palomar Mountain, here I come!

Ya we did that a few weeks ago one a regular club ride. Not bad actually. Wish it was longer, though there is a route we took that rambled around up there and took in plenty of the steep stuff in the sub divisions. I think we found one street at 22% for a quarter mile.

Not really. I know there are other ways down but we looped through and back down the way we came up. That place can be brutal if you get lost.
