Southeast - Upgrading cassette: Shimano or SRAM?

I have a circa 1999 Cannondale H300 CAD1 hybrid that will need a cassette replacement soon. The gearing is 11-28. I've only seen Shimano H70 and SRAM PG-730's that would work. I do want to keep the gearing ratio as I'm very used to it and have zero problems with the ratio. I live in Florida so hills are not a big issue, just steep overpasses! My question is: is there any big difference in quality between the Shimano and SRAM cassettes? And: is there another brand/model out there I'm not aware of that would be better? I'm a cheap guy but I do like higher performance parts if I can afford them and they make sense. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I have had good luck with the Sram cassette on my Giant. I haven't used any other cassettes, but I have had a good experience with a 7 speed freewheel from Sunrace. I think they also make cassettes and they are pretty inexpensive. My other bike has a Suntour freewheel, not much help there!

I have 4 different brands cassettes. They all work good

I ride SRAM cassettes and never had any issues with them. Nothing wrong with either.

Like everyone else has said, no quality problems with either here.

SRAMS are Prettier, in general the quality is about the same, neither is a super high end cassette. I haven't done a head to head between these two, but I will say that I have had better luck with durability with SRAM stuff than shimano.
