its unfortunate that he got to the police before the vigilantes got to him.

To borrow a line from Pulp Fiction, someone should "get medieval on him".

Hitler was in charge of the attempted extermination of the Jewish people. His planning oversaw the murder of 6,000,000 Jews and probably 9,000,000 other "undesirables." 50,000,000 to 80,000,000 people died because of WWII and it's possible the war would never have been fought but for Hitler. Hitler was the greatest mastermind of human death the world has ever seen.

True, and Pineapples are too good for him. ;)

Sorry, the Hitler comparisons are just too much. Throwing a dog off a bridge is pretty freakin' horrible but it really does pale in comparison to the evils that Hitler caused. Generations of people were and will be affected by the atrocities of WWII and comparing that to chucking a dog off a bridge, I think, belittles what people went through 70 years ago.

have to agree with UA on this one. A dog being treated that way is absolutely disgusting, but not even close to worthy of a comparison to Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc.

Sorry to derail. It's awesome that he was tracked down. I hope that that sort of vigilantism continues for other "anonymous" crimes on the internet.

I'm all for vigilantiism if its limited to just tracking down perps....if it becomes mob justice, I have a problem with it. Let the courts decide actual innocence/guilt and punishment.

No, he needs to have is nuts ripped off. On Guy Fawkes day, we were discussing in class the techical details of being drawn and quartered.

First, you are hung by the neck until "barely alive" Then, you're split open from crotch to ribcage and all of your entrails are pulled out and burned in front of your (still alive) eyes. Then, you're tied to four horses and quartered by being ripped apart. At this point, you're dying fast, but still alive enough to perceive the executioner bringing his axe down to behead you.

Something like that sounds about right for this guy. I have no tolerance for animal cruelty and, in fact, probably have less tolerance for it than I do for human cruelty. Hurt a human, they won't trust you. Hurt a dog, and it'll come back and lick your hand.

So we are all in agreement that the guy is worse than x136 but better than Hitler, right? I say that he gets used as the attack dummy at the K-9 training academy for the police as his public service hours. padded suit optional.

Exactly. Does anyone know what happened to the dog besides being treated for the broken bones?

Thank god the dog lived, although hurt, he'll recover and hopefully go to a good home. what a peice of **** that dude is....when you have video footage of what you did, and its that definitive...I say let the vigilantes have him...but i'm sure prison life should change his attitude..

Well to me they fall in the same catagory, like I mentioned, I like dogs more than humans, I never had a dog that robbed me, or stabbed me in the back, or ripped off my car, I can go on forever.

Yeah right, 'cause they've been doing such a great job, I never ever see the same drug dealers on the street corners, not ever! and those repeat drunk drivers that end up killing someone in a drunken stuper? they really don't exsist either.
I say if the crime was witnessed by Police and private citizens shoot the ****ers on the spot and send their families a bill for the bullet.

In that case, what about the guy that raped and murdered the 5 year old kid in the states a couple of days ago? Was that less bad than Hitler's actions? Or is it that a dog's life doesn't measure up to human life?

Oh for ****s sake. Just because you can't comprehend a number as big as 6,000,000 doesn't mean you can compare anything you want to Hitler. Hitler oversaw the ****, torture, killings, degradings, humiliations, and anything else you want to call it, of hundreds of thousands of children. The actions are equally despicable, the scale is not. Try to wrap that around your pea sized brain.

As for a dog's life comparing to a humans. No, it doesn't compare. To compare the two is asinine. Dogs aren't comparable because we don't grant them the same rights. Is neutering your dog good? Is neutering your kid just as good?

Try looking in their eyes and telling them they aren't as worthwhile as dogs. Nazi's managed to do it. I'm sure you can, too.

If there's an upside to WWII (and WWI), its that it was so horrific that, IMHO, some of our cultural attitudes (at least in the West) have changed in terms of how much BS brutality we will put up with from miscreants... 60, 70 years ago things like this would likely have gone unreported and unpunished even if widely witnessed.

I don't know any of them personally, but I'm sure if I did know them I'd prob pick my dog over most of them, and no, it's not because they are jewish, it's because my dog is a way better friend than any person I've ever known, I bet more than a few of the people that made it out of the camps went on to be not so nice people, bet a few became murderers, thieves, ******, and so on, they were no different than any other humans on the face of the earth, just went thru a lot more than most, the expierience didn't make them saints I'll tell you that, now my dog, he loves me unconditionally, I could walk up to him (not that I would ever) and kick him right in the face and a few minutes later he'd be right by my side with the same amount of love he had for me just before I kicked him in the face, thats loyalty, thats a friend, and thats why I would without thought give my life for him, name a person (besides you parent or kids) that you know for sure loves you unconditionally.
