Folding Bikes - People on Craigslist and their comprehension of Folding bikes...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well after much deliberation, I have to part with my folder.. My strida that pretty much laid the ground work between areaware and its 2009 line up of bikes with, lleather grips/saddles and lead to the added design of riser bars for taller riders etc.

It just annoys me to heck that everytime i break into the science of the strida I get a lot of ppl that think the bike looks great but don't understand the compromises when dealing with the shorter wheelbase, closer handle bars, smaller wheels etc etc.

do you guys have any experience dealing with the average cyclist? is there a folder FAQ i can link them to? I hate blindly BCC everyone that replies...

Maybe Bike Friday's faq. There are other sources, but I'm too lazy to find them now (sorry maybe later). Although I haven't read any good documents about shortwheelbases and closer handlebars. Heck I don't even think most of the regulars around here understand it (and consequently have irrational beliefs about bikes like the Carryme).
