Given I have, perhaps foolishly, entered a Super Randonneur series next year I've been giving some thought to the lighting requirements. I have already purchased an IQ Fly and a B&M rear light (both originally intended for the recumbent I won't be using), so it's really just a question of the hub dynamo that needs resolving.
It seems that a SON20R wouldn't have major difficulties powering the LEDs even though it's really meant for smaller wheels, however given that it's flanges aren't so apart would I be pushing my luck entirely too far if I went for the 20 spoke version? (Said 20 spoke version allowing me to reuse the existing Mavic Aksium front rim.)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
