Seems that there's an issue with the new forums that I can't find recognized anywhere... Even when I log in, ask to be "remembered" and spend an amount of time on one thread, when I click back to the parent forum, I am logged out and the advertisements reappear. In order to post either a new thread or reply to an existing thread, I need to log back in.
Anyone else having this issue? Anything we can do about it?

Try clearing the cache and remove the old cookies from Bike forums, and get new ones. That seems to help on many instances. The 3.8 cookies and 4.0 cookies are tracked differently and this results in what you are describing.

I WAS having that problem the day before yesterday. Since then and now, I'm signed in and stay that way as good as ever. What's buggin' me is that "Now using the NEW..." flying bell ad. @ the lower rt.side corner.
I'll think you'll be alright with the sign-in though.
