Bottom bracket work requires mission-specific wrenches, made either by the BB manufacturer or a bicycle tool maker, such as Park.

Bottom bracket work requires mission-specific wrenches, made either by the BB manufacturer or a bicycle tool maker, such as Park. And threadless forks need only an allen wrench,unless you ae also switching out HS cups and crown races.Then it's specific tools or improvised ones. www.parktool.com repair section has the drill on all of it.

In order to swap a fork, you have to drive the lower race off the fork and press it on the new one. There are special tools for this, though some people manage with hammers and screwdrivers at the risk of damaging the race. If you strip everything down yourself, an LBS should can do the job for a minimal cost.
