Threw out the remains of last years winterbike in a dumpster and found a wheelless K2 4.0 Zed sans wheels that I brought home.Had most of what I needed of parts lying around so now I have three bikes to choose from this winter. Two with studs (this one and a CX) and one Mtb without.

Those tires look huge, what size are they? From the winter pics you've posted in the past, you're going to need them.

They are the 2.3 Freddies Light's with 336 studs. Many hardcore singletrack riders don't like them because the studs do not protrude all that much. For my kind of riding (mostly frozen fireroads) they are great.
