i just ordered a new reba race off ebay to replace the coil spring fork i have. my question is will i have to buy a fork pump or can i use the pump i already have ?

What pump is it you already have? If you mean the large one that inflates your tires in a blast, the answer is no.

Yes, definately get a shock pump.
they are designed for high pressure low volume. It will help you fine tune your suspension as well

i remember about 9yrs ago when i got my 1st Air Fork.... I didnt have a shock pump so i went to Hess to put air in it while out riding.. WOW! what a mistake....their pump took all of the air out of my fork and had to ride 15mi back to my house feeling like the MTB was a low rider..
