I'm looking for a BMX Bike. It will be used for a short commute, casual riding, and a little off road riding. I'm running with a budget of $200 ideally, but I might be able to splurge and spend a bit more. I am 5'10" and about 155lbs.

After a bit of research, I've noticed mention of 26" BMX Bikes. That seems ideal since I'll be using it for commuting mostly. Are there any disadvantages to the 26" Bikes? If possible, I'd also much prefer to buy New, but I'm always open to the Used aspect. Thanks in advance.

After a bit of research, my best option seems to be the DK CYGNUS 24 (http://www.danscomp.com/107067.php?cat=BIKES). It's a bit over my budget, and the paint scheme isn't exactly my favorite, but it's what I have come up with.

Any other decent recommendations?

We just started to carry the DK's in our shop last week. The Cygnus seams to be pretty good for the money.

SE also has some nice 26" bikes, a lot more money though. The OM Flyer is popular, it lists for $750.

Where are you from? We still have access to some 2009 models at some great prices.
