I'm in base phase right now, heading for early season brevets in March, but no real tests until May. Besides the usual base rides, cross training, drills, and weights, I've been doing 1/2 hr. of Z1 every morning before breakfast. However, it ocurrs to me that I could profitably substitute a warm-up and Tabata intervals for some of those morning roller rides. But how many/week? Same day as evening weights, or the day after?
