HI ALL!! I"m DM. I"ve seen this place around a bit and finally decided to buckle under and join. What could it hurt? Besides, this looks like a 'safe' place to get my neurosises out.

I usually ride a Roadmaster Mtn Sport SX 2002. I've dinkered and diddled with every single adjustment on it and it's borne up marvelously under my pokings and proddings. I've also outfitted it with a full set of fenders, cargo rack, saddle bags (or paniers, as the rest of the world calls them), I forget what all else besides the usual bottle cages, reflectors etc. And, simply for aesthetic purposes, a spiked collar around the bottom bar of the frame, and an automobile air freshener from the handlebars.

If, however, I decide the Roadmaster is in need of repairs, while it's upsidedown in my room I'll probably be on a Huffy Powerline. (yes, the one that looks like it's trying to be Jeff G's racecar) I haven't done anything spectacular wit it but get it working. I noticed the term 'tacoed rear wheel' somewhere...well, this rear wheel was BURRITOED. It still gives me a bit of trouble now and again, but on the whole I"m rather proud of my dumpster bike (that's where I found it)

And, the third member of my fleet, which I don't exactly own YET but am hopeful, is the Schwinn LeTour belonging to one of my exes. I've done all the mantinence on it for two years, and have a strong sense that I need a racer to balance out my collection of mountain bikes...hoping to acquire the LeTour, which he has no respect for and knocks around all over the place. And then wonders why it doesn't work. *gonk*
