I didn't lose much this week, but I met my goal and I'm still going in the right direction.

Start of Week: 239 lbs.
End of Week: 238 lbs.

I was only able to get out and ride 85 Km. this week and it is getting more difficult as day light hours decrease and cold weather sets in. I'm going to be looking for some windproof fleece pants and some different shoes to extend the season. As a kayaker, I've got 4 paddling jackets and lots of fleece for the upper body, but I need something to cut the wind on my legs.

Next weeks goal: I'd like to get back to losing 2 lbs. a week. Goal is 236 lbs.

Last week 279# on 11-16-09.........This week 274# on 11-23-09.

Shooting for 270# or less on the 30th even with the Thanksgiving feast! A few good rides over the long weekend might just do it if I'm careful with everything I put in my mouth........except the Thanksgiving meal, of course.

OK _ So not sure starting weight this week - Let's guess 181.

Goals:
Workout - run-bike- swim. Yes -you guessed it! Miss Bumble goes to Panama City Beach. So the new guy is training for a half Ironman...and I guess now I am too. Running is the real issue! Have i menitoned how hard that is? Well today I went to LA Fitness and I dunno it seemed a little more bearable - and I did 4 miles. WOO HOO. I am supposed to be up to 5 miels by January 1 so I can start the real training for this bad boy. (may 8 - Gold Coast Triathalon)
Tuesday - Workout with weights
Wed - NADA
Thurdays - WEIGHTS - 1 hour
Friday - Run 4 Miles; half hour spin- swim 80 Laps- a biot over a mile....
Saturday - WEIGHTS
Sunday - Run 4 Miles and then swam a mile. Still trying to recover. Maybe the trick of triathalon training 5 months in advance is maybe to go easy???

Well I've been part of this thread/group since earlier this year but haven't posted much. First ride in January ended in the emergency room. Arm required surgery and so that put me out of commission for quite a while. Didn't ride again until this past week -- a big 300 yarder to see if I could stay on the bike. Nothing physical. It's all mental and financial. The break and surgery about bankrupted us. I went back to work in early summer and have been getting adjusted to that. I've also joined the gym about 3 months ago to ride the stationary bikes. It's been spotty -- probably averaging 2 days per week. Striving to get to 5 days at the gym and 4 on the bike. Changed pedals on my bike for flat mtb type platforms with those little spikes -- feet got caught in clamps during accident and that made it worse.

Anyway I'm back, sort-of, and determined to get going properly on my riding. I like the weight loss and conditioning part of riding but actually the enjoyment of moving through different areas on the bike is a great joy to me. A very nice solitary think time experience.

I don't remember my starting anything -- so here goes

269.0 It's been bouncing around by three or four pounds per week. Down and then up and ...... (gained a lot this year.)

Oops -- wrong weeks thread. Sorry.
