Touring - bikes IN a trailer. any good ideas?

we have a 5x8 enclosed utility trailer and would like to carry multiple bikes (6+) on touring jaunts. Does anyone have ideas or plans for fabricating a safe bike rack inside? Of course we need room for lots of gear too. Thanks for your thoughts.:)

I don't know about 6 bikes, will they hang vertically? I used to carry several bikes in the back of my truck/cap. I used a 2x2 board with 2x2 blocks on it that were slotted for the front forks. That was all it took, they were held in place by their weight and size. I guess there could be security issues, but if you could carry a few on the roof...
