Hello, please can anyone help me with methods to measure running distance. Are there any devices for mile/km counting. I am facing problems with counting my running distance after the training, although i check my running time but have no idea about kms i did (i dont train on trackfield frequently). Thank you very much for assistance.

you should check out the Garmin Forerunner. I run about 70 miles a week. This is the ultimate runners tool. You can also mount it to your bike. Measures distance, pace, Mph, calories, it basicly does every thing. here is the link, http://www.garmin.com/products/forerunner201/

after you run for a while, you have an idea of your pace...this can be used to calculate how far you went. however, to way that I have been using is to just ride it with my bike and check it out.

I have a Nike Triax V10. I like it. But, I think I am wishing I would have bought the CV10, that one has the heart rate monitor. Sorry, no direct link. But go to nikerunning.com (http://www.nikerunning.com) and go to equipment.

Timex makes the bodylink where you can do a GPS or a HRM or both. Very nice tool.
