I just picked up this beautiful old Bianchi from a guy on Craigslist. It's much too small for me, but I was thinking about saving it for a son to ride. It's so classy and nice!

The hubs, cranks, and seat are branded "Bianchi". The 5-speed rear derailleur is a SunTour V and the downtube shifter if a Huret.

The serial number on the headtube is 1L27973. The badge is foil, not stamped metal.

I'm guessing that the bike is from the late 60's, but I can't tell. I'm also unsure of whether this is an actual Bianchi or a knock-off. I'm not particularly concerned either way- it is what it is, a great old 5-speed townie- but any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Now on to the pictures!
