25 years old. She died Wednesday night. I hadn't seen her in 15 years maybe and only got pieces of her life through my parents. I never knew the person she became and I regret that.

Life is a fragile thing.

It's always a tragedy when someone dies before they've had a chance to live. Perhaps a lesson to us all to make every day count.

Add my condolences to the others UA, and be well.

Thanks all for the well wishes. My parents and sister are with my aunt, uncle, and cousin making funeral arraignments. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child. I'm glad my family was able to be there.

The funeral is tomorrow and it sounds like all of my aunts and uncles are there right now, probably laughing and crying, remembering her, loving her, missing her, and mourning her. I remember her as a bouncy, chubby little girl, always exploring and always with a smile on her face.

Just saw this thread.
Sorry to hear of the loss UA. But as you said, it shows just how fragile life is. We all need to learn to live every minute like it could be our last.

sorry to hear about your family's loss. i hope you are doing alright... forget regret, or life is yours to miss. think about the ways she may have touched your life (even through others), instead of dwelling on the what-ifs.
