Manufacturer, Retailer, Survey and Consumer Feedback - Don't buy from bicyclesource.us

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I bought a pair of Dahon Curve D3's from them, assembled one and determined that it was too small for me. When I asked about returning the second one, which was still unassembled in the shipping crate, they told me that they have a no returns policy on bicycles and advised me to sell it on Craigslist or Ebay. ********!

Sounds like it's on you, bud... You should have read the return policy before plopping down your money. They are not ********, they are businessmen, and their policy is plainly stated. This would not come as a surprise to you if you clicked around their website; I found that statement in about 20 seconds.
yeah, I admit that I didn't exactly read the fine print before I clicked on Buy Now, but any internet retailer that won't take exchanges on items like clothing, shoes and unassembled and completely unused bicycles is asking an awful lot of their customers; in other words, in this day and age, when consumers have lots of choices, they are basically shooting themselves in the foot with a returns policy like that, and I'm not gonna be shy about letting the world know that this is one company where the customer does not come first.

I suppose we can close this thread now.
It's a flucking dumb policy.
Let's see a show of hands, anyone here anxious to buy from these people? No one?
Will you remember their name next time you're shopping online for bike stuff? Yes?
Good, my job is done here, and y'all have learned from my mistake.

Price Point has the same return policy, so you need to read before you buy to see if it's acceptable to you, no problem with me though.
