I am looking for a good quality mountain bike with full suspension and disc brakes for Christmas. I am around 6ft tall and can only spend at most £250. I've been looking around but haven't found anything with this spec for the price.

It would be used mainly on roads but occasionally on mountain biking trails. Any ideas?

Well...you just couldn't be a troll b/c this thread is soooo not creative.

1. Don't buy a full suspension bike under say £600-£800.
2. Look into a decent hardtail with a suspension fork.
3. Where are you located?
4. Why do you want full suspension for "mainly on roads" type of riding...does your community not pay to maintain them?
5. I just wanted to put a fifth point in here to make it look good.

Get something old, used, and abused and fix it up. Failing that, just go to whatever the Brit version of WalMart is and buy whatever they have.
