What tools are needed to change a bottom braket. The proper removal tool,depending on the BB brand, and usually a metric cresent wrench to turn it,but the cup and ball type BB use a spanner type tool and don't need the wrench.You also need to get the cranks off which also requires a tool if they don't have self extractors.
