Road Cycling - my first day off in a month and a half

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I commute to work on my roadie. I average about 26 miles a day with a few 40 milers thrown in. On the weekend I ride anywhere from 20-50 miles a day....you know, I know that I am overtraining a bit but generally feel pretty good....so here I sit at work feeling groggy and out of it. me and a buddy are going to start doing triathlons next year so I should get some cross training in and get off the bike a bit. Are the rest of you as addicted to this as me?????

Try being addicted but unable to feed the habit ... I work 50 miles from my house and the roads I take means there is no way I could ever commute that. I get home so late that even during the summer I usually have to ride the trainer. One weekend ride is about all I can squeeze in between the children and wife :(
