I've searched and searched (but we all know that search sucks) but can't find an answer to this question. My avatar has gone missing, so I want to re-upload it. I got to "Settings" and "Edit Avatar" but the pane to the right of the menu just stays blank. No opportunity to upload a pic.

What browser are you using? I just used the UserCP Edit Avatar link with Firefox 3.5.5, and it worked perfectly. I'm not saying you aren't having an issue that needs resolved, either. If you are using IE, it's part of a bug issue with IE coding. We've been working on it nonstop for a while now, and hope to address this problem ASAP. We don't like having these issues any more than you do, I can absolutely guarantee you.

Of course I use IE...doesn't everyone? ;) I'll just keep checkin' back. Not having an avatar isn't the end of the world.

Change is hard. I upgraded from MS Office '03 to '07 recently and still can't find half the stuff I used to use. Keep at it.

If you have a photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) account, upload your avatar pic to that, then use Option 1 and paste the photobucket url of your avatar into the form. If you don't have a photobucket account, get one (they're free).
