Can anyone let me know if Dura Ace Shifters will work well with a Ultegra Rear Derailler? or do I have to have the same components?
Pre-thanks!

As long as they are both 9 speed!
I have Ultegra shifters and Dura Ace rear derailler and they work great together.
Here is a variation, will tiagra shifters work with ultegra deraileurs?

Ok, and how about another variation...
I have Ultegra shifters, and Tiagra deraileurs front and rear (9 speed). If I switch to an Ultegra double on the front will I need to change my deraileurs? Both or just one?
Both derailleurs can be swapped individually.

All Shimano rear derailers (except for pre-1997 Dura-Ace) index the same, and are equally compatible with different shifters that match the cassette to be used.
This is from http://www.sheldonbrown.com/dura-ace.html
For the most part, all components with the same number of speeds are compatible within a manufacturer i.e. tiagra, 105, ultegra and dura-ace play well together and xenon, veloce are ok then centaur, chorus and record are ok. Indexing for shimano is on the shifters, I think, so I think you can use whatever mechanism, deraileur, makes you happy.

I have an ultegra rear deralleur 9 speed. Can I use a dura-ace 9 speed or 10 speed cassette or only 9-speed?? If I can use a dura-ace cassette do I need a different chain??

To upgrade to 10 speed without wanting to spend the entire big buck..
buy the DA10 or Ultegra 10 shifters, cassette and chain.
The rest can remain the same as the 9 speed group.
