I am buying a Messenger chainring today (48t) and just ordered the crankarms and bottom bracket. What type of bolts (size, brand) should I buy to attach the arms to the BB? Any suggestions or links would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

When I installed mine I pulled some bolts with steel washers off an old bike. I'd suggest going to your local co-op or picking up something cheap from a bargain bin at your local bike shop. Hell you could even put something together with parts from the hardware store.

common crank bolts (depending on your bb).. available at your local bike shop.

When I bought the RD2 crank arms, they came with the bolts. Most BB's come with them as well. You shouldnt have an issue with this.
