From what I've been told by people, you're going to need to eat more because your caloric needs are higher since your body is in repair mode. It wouldn't hurt to take in more calcium and protein, and up your calories a bit too.
You're recovering now, eat healthy and eat when hungry.

I had a broken clavicle (collarbone) a few years ago, and mine was a multiple hairline break. I still have pain when there is significant change in the weather, and it sometimes feels a bit like a cement mixer full of gravel when I swim or play tennis, but it's not awfully bad.
Did yours get surgically repaired? That might actually make the process easier.

no. scheduled for all the follow-up nonsense soon and part of the bone is poking up significantly still.
not able to "push it back." perhaps surgery is in my future.
I had surgery to fix mine a couple years ago, I'd do it agian in a heartbeat. The surgery is pretty invasive and it's not without risks. I was riding on the trainer 2 days post surgery, although I kept it short, and was back outside in quich order. Of course the Dr. didn't need to know I was riding outside, he was worried about another crash. Hope you're feeling better soon, if you have any questions either post them of send me a PM.
