Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Sig fix it good but still annoying

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I see that the IB crew took my suggesting ;) and started sigs below the message text rather than below the user frame text. The users of evil mobile devices should be rejoicing. But it needs a little tweak yet.
Something (probably the editor) eats trailing whitespace in a message, and the <hr> of the sig is appended immediately. So there is by default no whitespace at all (and afaict no way to put any) between the message and the sig. This makes it very annoying to read.
Please put at least one line of whitespace between the message and <hr> of the sig.
Yeah, there was much trumpeting about that whitespace issue, it was the first thing I hit Tom with when this new upgrade went live. What they did is an improvement, but not quite "right" in my opinion. Appears that also the Signature space is Top aligned so if you're sig is short and your user block is very tall (esp now that the stats are wrapping the way they are) then there's a bunch of white space under the signature.
Say, how did you get a leading blank line in your sig? I tried putting a <cr> in there but it just ate it.
Luck I suppose. I haven't touched my sig since long before the upgrade, and I'm not about to go try to edit it for fear it'll get wonky.
If you embed the whitespace in an attribute like [font], the editor will preserve it.
Like this.
This seems to be fixed now, and the user frame is formatted better. Also, the Quick Navigation drop-down control works.
UI problems I still see: No Last Post button, tiny fonts in the editors.
